Hi all!
This week we had someone from the career center come in and give us a presentation on interview preparation! But first, here are just a couple of club announcements:
We have so much merch left! Please come grab your t-shirt if you bought one ASAP, we'll have them at each meeting until the end of the semester and you can also reach out to Diandre if you need to figure out a separate time lawrendi@mail.gvsu.edu
Club dues must be paid each semester, so make sure to get your $10 in either to Faith, our financial officer in person, or via our club venmo @gvpremedclub
Health Professionals Graduate Fair is coming up on March 25th from 11:30am-1:30pm in Henry Hall
We will be holding eboard elections for open positions at the last meeting of the semester on April 7th. If you're an active and attending member who wants to join club leadership, start thinking about that!
After our announcements, Shea from the career center gave us their interview prep presentation that consisted on information on how to prepare for interviews, dos and don'ts on what to wear, what to say, and how to conduct yourself, as well as some tips and tricks to improve your responses and present yourself as the best possible candidate for whatever you're interviewing for!
The GVSU career center has many resources for interview prep including academic advising as well as mock interview appointments available to book on Handshake!
